Ralph D. Camp Jr., 67, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Jackson Ridge Healthcare Center in Maquoketa.

A private celebration of his life will take place at a later date.  Cremation rites have been accorded and burial will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Washington County, Pennsylvania.

Ralph David Camp Jr. was born on September 14, 1956 in Pennsylvania to Mary Ellen (Diley) and Ralph David Camp Sr.  He grew up in Joffre, Pennsylvania and moved to Iowa in 2011.  He loved swimming, eating cherry pie, watching baseball with the Pittsburgh Pirates being his favorite team, and singing his favorite song Amazing Grace.

Those left to honor his memory include his siblings, Nancy (Dave) Huggins of Carnegie, PA, Ray (Deb) Camp of Pittsburgh, PA, and Cheryl (John) Williams of Andrew, IA; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father in 2006 and his mother in 2020.
