Randall L. Frank, age 67, of Dubuque, passed away, surrounded by his family,  at 6:20 p.m., on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Ennoble Manor following a long battle with cancer.  In keeping with Randy’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time. The Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street, Dubuque is assisting Randy’s family.

Randy was born on February 7, 1957, in Dubuque, son of Carl and Mary (Smith) Frank.

He attended Dubuque Senior High School prior to serving his country in the U.S. Navy.  Randy served on a salvage ship doing underwater salvage and welding.

For most of his life, Randy worked in and around Dubuque doing various jobs. His employers included the Dubuque Pack, Herbstreith Construction and lastly in Maquoketa at the Family Dollar Distribution Center.

Randy married Sue Schiel on September 7, 1985 in Dubuque.  Together they had one daughter, Tabitha.  In his free time, when the weather was nice, he enjoyed going fishing.  Randy also enjoyed having a good time with friends, and spending time with his grandchildren and family where he could also often be heard reciting his famous “Fe Fi Fo Fum.”

his siblings,
Sharon Jones, Ron Frank, Sharla (Chuck) VanCleve, Shirley (Randy) Hess, Sheila Pluemer and Riki (Rose) Frank;

and several nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Rodney Michael Frank in infancy, two brothers-in-law, Greg Pluemer and Roger Jones, and his best friend of many years, Gary Juno.
