Richard L. Petrick
Richard L. “Rich” Petrick, age 78, of Dubuque, passed away at 12:47 a.m., on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Sunnycrest Manor. In keeping with his wishes there will not be any services. Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street is assisting the family.
Rich was born on July 24, 1944, in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Rich went to school in Kenosha where he graduated from Kenosha High School. He worked at several places doing janitorial work and lastly worked as a security guard at A.Y. McDonald until his retirement. In his free time, he liked going camping with his friends at Camp H, sitting around the bonfire and spending the day at his favorite fishing hole. Rich was a very private man, but he will be missed by all of his friends at Ecumenical Towers.
Those left to cherish Rich’s memory include
his daughter,
Lisa Rocco, Florida;
and his close friends,
Gayle Atchison, Dubuque, IA
and Debbie Koch.
Rich was preceded in death by his parents; and 3 brothers.
We want to thank all of the nurses and staff at Hospice of Dubuque, especially Chris, for their outstanding care of Rich.
