Robert “Jiggs” J. Freiburger, 59, of Hazel Green, WI passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory of Cuba City, WI is serving the family.

Jiggs was born on November 22, 1965 to Henry & Mary Ellen “Mame” (Bussan) Freiburger in Dubuque, IA. He attended Southwestern High School and starting working for FDL (Dubuque Pack) and later for Farmer’s Feed Mill (IAS) for 15 years. He enjoyed gardening, lawn care, snow removal, the Green Bay Packers, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Jiggs is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen “Mame” of Cuba City, WI; 13 siblings:  Mike Freiburger, Joe Freiburger, both of Hazel Green, WI, Matt Freiburger of Racine, WI, Henry Freiburger Jr. of Cuba City, WI, Marsha (Bob) Wooden of Apple River, IL, Marla Means of Hazel Green, WI, Margie (Ron) Roth, Sue Freiburger, both of East Dubuque, IL, Becky Freiburger of Cuba City, WI, Cheryl (Jeff) Runde of East Dubuque, IL, Gail (Jamie) Brant of Cuba City, WI, Anne (Steve) Nichols of Okauchee, WI and Patty (Dan) Behrens of Muscoda, WI; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Sr., a sister, Michelle “Shelly” Reisen and a nephew, Nicholas “Nick” Hilby.
