Roberta L. Brown, 81, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Saturday morning, April 20, 2024, at Hawkeye Care Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

Roberta Lee Bradour was born on March 5, 1943 in Des Moines, Iowa, to Harold and Cora (Scobey) Bradour.  She married Clement Brown on April 20, 1959 in Iowa.  He preceded her in death on October 27, 2005.

Roberta was a housewife.  They retired and moved to Maquoketa in July of 2007.   She enjoyed painting, singing, dancing, crocheting and leatherwork. 

Roberta is survived by her children, Steve, Mark, Janice, Tina, and Deborah; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son John.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa.  A private burial will be held at a later date at Bridgeport Cemetery, rural Maquoketa.
