Ronald E. Stoner Sr.
Ronald E. “Ron” Stoner, Sr. age 69, of Platteville, WI, completed his earthly journey on June 10, 2025, at Southwest Health Center in Platteville. Per Ron’s request, there will be no public services. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Ron’s family.
Ron was born on December 11, 1955, in Kansas City, MO, a son to Paul and Rebecca (Ford) Stoner. Ron was gifted with a kind heart and a generous spirit. His easy-going demeanor helped Ron to make countless friends along the way throughout life. He spent many years working as an over-the-road trucker and was blessed to see the sights of the country one journey at a time. In his free-time, Ron enjoyed practicing his skills in the kitchen and creating his legendary muffins which he graciously shared all over town for those who crossed his path in daily life. He also spent numerous hours working on his ceramics and painting projects which he always enjoyed sharing with his family and friends. We are going to miss Ron and his larger-than-life personality. May he now find peace from his sudden health issues as we seek peace in his absence moving forward.
