Samuel J. Becker, 62, of Dubuque, died Thursday, December 2, 2021, at his home.

A memorial service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in the Chapel at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.

Sam was born April 12, 1959, in Dubuque, the son of Walter and Joyce Loraine Schurman Becker.

He was a mechanic at Tschiggfrie Excavating.

Survivors include his siblings: Jeffrey W. (Janice) Becker of Edmond, OK, Brian P. Becker of Dubuque, Bradley C. Becker of Dubuque, Kristin Lineen of Cheyenne, WY, Kimberly (Gregory) Yoko of Dubuque, Jennifer F. (Mark) Wagstaff of NC, and Geralyn Becker of Dubuque; nephews and nieces: Brandon (Kresha) Becker, Erienne M. Becker, Zebadiah (Samantha) Yoko, and Benjamin Yoko; aunts: Joan VandeVorde of Pipe Stone, MN, Gertrude Duffert of Flandreau, SD, and Katheryn (Roland) Kortlever of Alexandria, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Mark, Mike, and Todd.
