Sheri L. Anthony

Sheri L. Anthony, age 52, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on June 18, 2025, at UnityPoint Finley Hospital with her loving family by her side.  To honor Sheri’s life, a private family Celebration of Life is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Sheri’s family.

Sheri was born on November 9, 1972, in Dubuque, IA, a daughter to Paul and Jannan (Ryan) Anthony.  She was gifted with a genuinely sweet and pure soul which would easily brighten any room she ventured into.  Her love for her family and friends was unwavering and her commitment to caring for those around her never failed.  She invested her time with a few businesses around town over the years including Anderson Window, Nordstrom’s and Eagle’s Country Market most recently, but for those who knew her best, they were always aware of the fact that her heart and minds were undeniably right back at home with her family.  Sheri resided on the more shy side of life in large gatherings, but within her intimate circles, she was vibrant and open for any adventure which arose.  She has been known to try her luck at the casino from time to time, but again, a little quiet time with a fishing pole in hand, or a relaxing drive in the countryside with her canine companions, Daisy and Peanut, were where she found true satisfaction.  It’s almost impossible to relate in words what the pain of losing such a caring and kind spirit feels like today.  The world was so much better off with her walking among us than without.  We seek some peace and comfort in knowing that Sheri is now free from her earthly battles, but can only pray for healing in our own hearts in the midst of her physical absence now moving forward.  Thank you, Sheri, for sharing all of the love and light that you could while you were walking among us and may you find eternal peace in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father until we all see your beautiful smile once again.
