Sucyn “Sue”A. Tenney, 86 of Dyersville, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque.

Sucyn’s family services are private. A Memorial service for Sucyn are pending at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Dyersville.

Sucyn was born August 28, 1931 in Albert Lea, MN the daughter of Albert and Selma (Anderson) Ehlert. She married Harold D. Tenney on September 24, 1949 in Spring Valley, MN. She was a waitress in many area restaurants. She collected teddy bears. She was a very cheerful person who had a strong spirit.

Survivors include her 4 children: Julie Tenney of Dyersville, Robert Tenney of Dyersvlle, Barbara (Henry) Mills of Forest City, Jefferey (Lori) Tenney of Vinton, 5 grandchildren: Shay Tenney, Hattie Mills, Thomas Mills, Ian Tenney, Kyle Tenney and brother-in-law, John Steffen of Farley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold in 1999, daughter-in-law, Darlene Tenney in 2008, granddaughter, Lisa Tenney, siblings: Barbara Steffen, Wally Ehlert and Mary Ehlert.
