Susan K. (Morrow) Berthel, 62 of Miles, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Mercy One in Dubuque.  A Celebration of Life will be held  4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Friday, May 15, 2026 at Corey’s House at 17243 374th Avenue Bellevue, Iowa.

Susan was born August 31, 1963, the daughter of Paul and Barbara (Eversoll) Morrow.  She married Roger Berthel on September 5, 2008.  Susan was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and helping Roger on the farm.

Survivors include her husband, Roger; a son, Ben (Kym) Roling Whitten and Roger’s son, Corey (Aleshia) Berthel; grandchildren, Deacon, Parker, Ivy, and Veda; siblings, William (Roberta) Morrow, Gerald Morrow, a sister in-law, Pamela Morrow; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Timothy Morrow, a brother Paul Morrow and a sister in-law, Bonnie Morrow; and Roger’s son, Shawn Berthel.
