Wanda Marie Simpson (Millman), 65, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away peacefully at home on June 17, 2026, after a short illness.

According to her wishes, no public services will be held. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is assisting the family.

Wanda was born on July 6, 1960, in Dubuque, the daughter of William and Morene (Story) Millman. She married Tom Simpson and they had one child: Billy Simpson.

Wanda is survived by her two grandchildren, Seth and Carter Simpson; daughter-in-law Teresa Simpson; three siblings, Dora (Wayne) Huseman, Norman (Angie) Millman, and Juanita “Midge” Fiasco; and special aunt Anita (Gerald) Pleiser.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, William and Morene; her son, Billy Simpson; and her brother Randy (Dawn) Millman.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Dubuque for all their care.
