Election Advisory – Special School Board Election 

Sample ballots for the September 8th Special Dubuque Community School District Election are available on the Dubuque County Elections website – elections.dubuquecountyiowa.gov

In-person early voting has begun today, Thursday, August 20th at the Election’s Office, 880 Central Ave. Ballots will also be mailed today, August 20th to anyone who requested one.

Voters wishing to have a ballot mailed to them must first fill out a request form. Forms can be obtained on our website or by calling the election’s office at 563-589-4457. The deadline to accept absentee request forms is 5:00 pm on Monday, August 24th. Postmarks don’t count.

Voters should only send in one absentee ballot request form. Voter’s can check online at the Iowa Secretary of State’s office to see if we have received their request form:

Voters are reminded that for this Special Election we are using Vote Centers. So any registered Dubuque County voter who resides in the Dubuque Community School District can choose to vote at any one of the Vote Centers listed below:
