First Day to Vote and Additional Hours
Early in-person voting for the June 2nd Primary started on Wednesday,
May 13th in the Election’s office, 880 Central Ave. Free parking is provided in the lot south of 880 Central. May 13th was also the first day that ballots were mailed to those voters who requested a ballot be mailed to them.
Sample ballots for the June 2nd Primary Election are available on the Dubuque County Elections website – elections.dubuquecountyiowa.gov
Voters are reminded that since this is a Primary Election, voters must select a political party to receive a ballot.
The Dubuque County Elections office will be open additional hours to aid voters in participating in the June 2nd Primary election.
The Dubuque County Elections office, 880 Central Ave, Dubuque will be open on Saturday, May 16th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30th from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for early voting. Elections will also be open until 5:00 p.m. on Monday May 18th and Friday, May 29th.
A satellite early voting station will take place at the Dyersville Social Center on Saturday, May 30th from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 625 3rd Ave SE, Dyersville, IA.
Voters who are having a ballot mailed to them are reminded that ballots must be received in the Election Office no later than 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 2nd, postmarks do not count. Ballots can be delivered to the Election Office by the time the polls close (8:00 pm) on Election Day, Tuesday, June 2nd.
