September 11th – We Will Never Forget

On September 11, 2001, our nation was forever changed. In the early hours of that morning, four coordinated terrorist attacks shook the United States to its core. Nearly 3,000 innocent lives were lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in the fields of Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Ordinary men and women—mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters—were taken from us in an instant.

Yet in the midst of great tragedy, we also witnessed incredible courage. Firefighters, police officers, and first responders rushed into burning buildings to save lives, many making the ultimate sacrifice themselves. Strangers helped strangers down stairwells. Passengers on Flight 93 displayed extraordinary heroism, ensuring their aircraft would never reach its intended target.

Each September 11th, we pause to remember the lives lost, to honor the bravery shown, and to reflect on the resilience of the American spirit. It is a day that reminds us of the fragility of life and the strength we find in unity.

The phrase Never Forget is not just a slogan—it is a solemn promise. We pledge to keep alive the memory of those who perished, to honor those who served, and to teach future generations about the events of that day. By remembering, we preserve the truth, we honor the sacrifice, and we reaffirm our commitment to stand together against hatred and violence.

As we reflect on September 11th, let us remember not only the sorrow, but also the strength, faith, and unity that carried us through. We will never forget.
