$100 Airfare Rebate Program Extended to Oct. 31

Due to an overwhelming response to the program, Dubuque Initiatives is extending its $100 airfare rebate program for travelers who purchase round-trip tickets on Denver Air Connection flights at the Dubuque Regional Airport. As of Sept. 23, nearly 500 rebate requests have been received.

The deadline to purchase tickets has been extended to Friday, Oct. 31. There are no restrictions on when the flights take place; however, round trip tickets must be purchased between Aug. 11, 2025, and Oct. 31, 2025.

Denver Air Connections offers a daily morning flight to and evening return flight from Chicago/O’Hare at the Dubuque Regional Airport. Tickets may be purchased through a traveler’s preferred online travel retailer (Kayak, Google Flights, Travelocity, Expedia, etc.) or through American and United if they are connecting to a destination is beyond Chicago. For additional booking information, visit FlyDBQ.com.

To receive the rebate, travelers must present proof of purchase to Greater Dubuque Development Corporation. Rebates will be issued as $100 checks per passenger for each round-trip ticket. Employers who buy tickets for their employees’ business travel will be reimbursed. Leisure travelers will be reimbursed directly.

To request reimbursement, complete the online request form at https://form.jotform.com/252455114527151, or provide proof of ticket purchase, as a ticket or invoice, to:
