Allen was born August 1, 1957, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Wayne and Joann (Clemen) Recker.  He worked at Prairie Farms “The Dairy” for 40 plus years. He was a proud father of 2 daughters. Allen enjoyed watching all of their achievements; even through his declining health, he kept up the strength to watch one of his daughters graduate from UNI.

Al lived for spring and fall harvest at Jurgens Farms, through this work he gained friends that became his second family. Once field work was done, he would only then take out his toys which included his Harley and The B5 Blue Challenger. Many weekends you could find him with his campground friends or at the Fred Shed with his “party pack”.

Survivors include his children: Alli Recker and Brandi Davis; 9 grandchildren; his girlfriend, Heather Goetzinger; siblings: Sherry (Andy) Berger and Ann (John White); 4 nephews: Josh, Tim, Derek, Jordan and great-nephews, Bentley Wayne and Mack James.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson.

The family would like to thank the Wendt Cancer Center and Hospice of Dubuque, especially Kris for their compassionate care of Allen
