For all who knew Amy,
you’ll remember her wit and charm with a sly grin,
her sense of style with a wide eye,
her compassion with a wet kiss,
her love of country music with a “ye-ha,”
and her sense of adventure with an “Amy story.”
How good life is that God creates us in so many varied ways.
Surviving are her brother Eric; brother Todd (wife Rita) of Edwards, Colorado; sister Carey (husband Dan Lange) of East Dubuque, Illinois; and her nieces and nephews whom Amy called her own: Jenna Oppenheimer; and Adrienne (friend Luis), Nick, R.J. (wife Ashley), Peter (friend Kaitlyn), Sam, Jerry (wife Miranda), Greg (friend Lindsey), and Grace Lange.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Judith, and her grandparents John and Myrtle Oppenheimer and Hubert and Hazel Hume, who loved her completely.
Thank you to friends and extended family at Franklin and Audubon, Area Residential Care, Special Olympics, Iowa Department of Human Services, Goodwill, and Sunnycrest Manor. You have “done all things well” (Mark 7:37).
