Angella L. Rhomberg

Angella Lynn Rhomberg, age 51, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away on April 5, 2024, at home.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.leonardfuneralhome.com

Angella was born on March 21, 1973, in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of Ronald and Carla (Cupps) Rhomberg. Anyone who had the honor of knowing Angie knew they had a friend for life. She made friends wherever she went. Always the life of the party, there was never a dull moment when you were with Angie.

Angie enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend Leroy Rand. She enjoyed watching a good movie at home with her fur-babies. Angie enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, boating, and sunbathing.

She loved spending time with her two boys Dylan and Michael and always spoiling them. The light of her life was becoming a “nana” to Dylan’s daughter Presleigh.

Angie loved spending time with family and friends and her daily visits from her great friend Robin Brown.

Angie never took life for granted; she knew tomorrow wasn’t guaranteed. Her life was full of many challenges, and she did it with grace and never complained, she was a true fighter.  She was an inspiration and blessing to anyone who had the honor of knowing her. Angie was a compassionate, kind-hearted soul who had a heart of gold.

Those left to remember Angie are her father Ronald Rhomberg, five siblings Stacey Rhomberg, Tonya (Paul Stant) Kieler, Sean (Heather Avenarius) Rhomberg, Jonathan Rhomberg, and Suzanne (Gary) Miller, nephews Cash (Anna) Yeoger, Tony (Rachael) Shaffer, Trenton (Rachel Klump) Avenarius, Dylan (Lily Heffner) Dean, and Michael Dean, nieces Ashley (Courtney Fakes) Yoerger, Stormy Yoerger, Shauna Peterson, Dezie and Pacie Kirk, great nieces Haylee and Melinda Peterson, Presleigh and Oaklynn Dean, and Dawson Shaffer, and her goddaughter Lylah Kirk, and her bonus daughter Aubrey Neuhaus.

She was preceded in death by her mother Carla Rhomberg, brother Ronnie Rhomberg, and her nephew Daniel Peterson; along with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A special thanks to her two longtime doctors, Dr. Salas and Dr. Iverson, who always cared for Angie. A huge thanks to Angie’s lifelong friends Andrew Krieg and Judy Teal for all his support and help. And much love to her boyfriend Leroy Rand for giving Angie the true happiness of life again and loving her for her. Also, to Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory for all their wonderful care they are providing to the family.
