Anne M. (O’Shea) Tierney, 80, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away on February 12, 2023.

Private family services will be held. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is assisting the family.

Anne was born on January 23, 1943, in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of Michael and Emma (Bakey) O’Shea. She loved animals, especially horses and her time spent horseback riding. She also loved to sing and was a member of a country band in her earlier years, having performed at many local establishments.

Anne is survived by her three children Jeffrey (Tracy) Hirsch of Dubuque, Dawn (Gary) Weets of Platteville, WI, and Jason (Tanya) Hirsch of Sylvania, OH, six grandchildren Codie, Kyle, Andy, Alex, Cody, and Josie, great-grandchild Aurora, sisters Sharon Young and Maureen O’Shea, brothers Marty (Anna) O’Shea, Tom (Elaine) O’Shea, and Terry O’Shea.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Gerald Lee Hirsch Jr., brother Michael O’Shea Jr., and brother-in-law Richard Young.
