Barbara “Barb” A. Hirsch, 77, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away on January 24, 2024, at home.

Friends and family may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. A Funeral Service will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dianne Grace officiating.

Barb was born on January 29, 1946, in Nebraska, daughter of Robert and Eldoris (Dahl) Bradley. Barb received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Dubuque. She married the love of her life Gerald Lee Hirsch on February 14, 1992, in Dubuque. Barb worked at John Deere as a Supervisor, Dubuque County Attorney’s Office as a domestic abuse advocate, Area Residential Care, and at Hillcrest as a trainer until her retirement. She enjoyed sewing, antiquing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Barb is survived by her husband Gerald; daughter Lisa (Terry) Delaney of Dubuque; step-sons Jeffrey (Tracy) Hirsch of Dubuque and Jason (Tanya) Hirsch of Sylvania, Ohio; step-daughter Dawn (Gary) Weets of Platteville, Wisconsin; grandchildren Jon (Kristine) Fuller, Jessica Fuller,  Joseph Delaney, Kyle Weets, Codie (April) Weets, Cody Hirsch, Josie Hirsch, Andrew Reiter, and Alex (Alyssa) Reiter; great grandchildren Ronan Fuller, Emma Weets, Lucas Weets, Olivia Weets, and Aurora Reiter.  Her siblings, Lee (Colette) Bradley, Poway, CA, Kay (Brian) Ridenour, Lincoln, Neb, and Tom Bradley, Greenwood, Neb.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert (president of Grain Equipment Consultants Inc.) and Eldoris Bradley.
