Barbara A. Mullady
Barbara A. “Barb” Mullady, age 65, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on September 27, 2023, at UnityPoint Finley Hospital in Dubuque with her loving family by her side. To honor Barb’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Barb’s family.
Barb was born on July 21, 1958, in Dubuque, IA, a daughter to Bernard “Bernie” and Elizabeth “Betty” (Beauchamp) Mullady. She was born and raised in Dubuque and enjoyed the opportunity to be surrounded by family and friends throughout her entire life. Barb devoted over 27 years of her working career at the Diamond Jo Casino. She spent her days visiting with her co-workers as well as the folks who came in to test their luck on any given day. In her free-time, Barb was always up for a little retail therapy and antiquing whenever possible, or catching the next great rock concert that made it’s way into the area. She also enjoyed spending a little time in her gardens, as well as warm summer days out at Leisure Lake. Her greatest joy though was surely found in following her grandkids around and attending their school programs and sporting events. Barb treasured her loved one’s most and any hour spent by their side was considered to be time well spent. We will miss our dear Barb moving forward, her quite contentment and ability to simply be in the moment, but we know that her earthly battles have been fought with diligence and now she must rest from those trials. Thank you, Barb, for leaving behind plenty of memories to help ease the pain of your absence and may you find eternal peace until we meet again.
