Brayden was born on November 2, 2006, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Ted and Kristen (Duschner) Domeyer. He was a senior at Western Dubuque High School in Epworth and was set to graduate in February, 2025. Brayden was active in baseball, bowling, and tennis. He enjoyed golfing on Sunday afternoons with his father and played on the Holy Cross Baseball Team coached by his father. He also enjoyed spending time with his siblings. Brayden was employed at his family farm, Double D Dairy, and also worked at Puck Enterprises in Epworth.
Brayden was loved by many and loved many. He had a heart of gold and lived big. He truly enjoyed life and worked hard and played hard. He always had a smile on his face and his quick wit and great sense of humor put joy in the hearts and smiles on the faces of those around him. He was the most loving son, grandson, brother and cousin. He adored his parents. There wasn’t a day that went by that he didn’t say I love you. He included his siblings in everything from golfing to snowboarding and video games to going out to eat. Brayden was the glue to his friends’ pack. There wasn’t a week that went by that he didn’t have friends over for hot tub football watching, video game nights, bonfires or a shop party working on his 1989 Dodge truck he purchased from his grandpa. He especially had a tremendous amount of love for his girlfriend, Brooke-she was truly his one.
He is survived by his mother Kristen (Brian) Wernke of Farley, his father, Ted Domeyer, of Holy Cross, his siblings Brynnleigh, Brooklynne, and Brevyn Wenke, all at home, his girlfriend, Brooke Ameskamp of Dyersville, his maternal grandparents, Gene and Connie Duschner of Farley, his maternal great grandma, Joan Gloeckner of Placid, his aunts and uncles, Josh (Kelly) Duschner of Dubuque, Stacey (Augustin) Cervantes of Epworth, Jessalyn (Adam) Reuter of Farley, Karen Domeyer of Manchester, Terry (Kim) Domeyer of Guttenberg, Dale (Jody) Domeyer of Holy Cross, Jim Domeyer of Luxemburg, and Jeff (Melissa) Domeyer of Holy Cross.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John “Jack” and Shirley (Stilmunkes) Domeyer and Ben and Dorothy Duschner, his great-grandfather, Clarence “Woody” Gloeckner, two uncles, Jayme Duschner and Carl Domeyer (godfather), and one aunt, Brittney Duschner and her baby boy.
