Clarice M. Graham, 61, of Washington, Iowa, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 4, 2025, at Dubuque Specialty Care, following a battle with dementia and complications from a stroke.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Faith Temple United Pentecostal.

The Funeral Service for Clarice will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Faith Temple United Pentecostal with Pastor Chris Frank and Pastor Tyler Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington, IA at a later date.

Clarice was born May 25, 1964, in Fort Madison, Iowa, to George A. Griffith and Patricia A. Smith Griffith. She grew up in Fort Madison and graduated from Fort Madison High School before attending Kent Christian College in Dover, Delaware. On November 21, 1987, she married the love of her life, Rev. Scott Graham. Together they built a life of ministry, family, and faith that touched countless lives.

Clarice gave her life to Jesus at a young age and faithfully served Him all her days. For over 20 years, she served alongside her husband as a pastor’s wife in Washington, IA and later in Maquoketa, IA. She was also a devoted member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Fort Madison. She was known for her outgoing personality, angelic singing voice, infectious laugh, and giving spirit, Clarice never met a stranger. She greeted everyone with a smile and loved deeply and unconditionally. She was a worship leader for many years, whether with a microphone or from a pew, she was always worshiping unashamed.

While she worked in a variety of roles throughout her life-including JCPenney, Burlington School District, Walmart Customer Service, and Duluth Trading Co.-her most cherished role was being “Mamaw.” She deeply loved her children and grandchildren, and nothing brought her more joy than her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Scott Graham of Washington, Iowa; her mother, Patricia (Carl) Bergman of Burlington, Iowa; her children, Sarah (Rodger) Weekley and Samuel (Maylana) Graham; her stepdaughters, Renee (Brian) Bozman and Tara (Ben) Brooks; grandchildren Lenae, Marshall, Bronson, Layla, Rodger Jr., Grant, Kyle (Felicia), Seth (Claire), Madeline (Austin), Jordan, and Jaxon; great-grandchildren Celeste and Cedric; and her second family, the Culps.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Griffith; her stepfather, Ron Gulick; one infant brother, Christopher Hemmie; sisters Sherry Powelson, Candice Pilkington, and Pamela Waterman; her brother, George Griffith; and a nephew, John Wayne Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to North American Missions.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Finley Hospital, Dubuque Specialty Care, and Hospice of Dubuque for their compassionate care.

Above all, Clarice will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for her family, her radiant joy, and her laugh that touched everyone who knew her.
