Dawson David Hoppman, the infant son of Patrick and Mariah (Bauer) Hoppman of Menominee, IL, was stillborn Monday morning, January 9, 2023, at Unity Point-Finley Hospital, Dubuque, IA.

A private family visitation will be held on Friday at the Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque, followed by graveside services at Nativity BVM Cemetery, Menominee, IL, with Deacon Jamie Schilling officiating.

Dawson is survived by his parents; grandparents, Todd and Tracey (Hammerand) Bauer of Asbury, Gerry and Chris (Splinter) Hoppman of Menominee; aunts and uncles, Erin and Jake Howell, Katie and Jason Hilby and Sierra Bauer; great-grandparents, Dave Bauer of Asbury, Ed Splinter of East Dubuque and Randy and Charlene Hammerand of Dubuque.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Sue Bauer, Doris Splinter, Lloyd and Virginia Hoppman and cousin, Dylan Arthur Howell.
