Diana S. (Caise) Freisinger, age 74, of Zwingle, Iowa, passed on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at home.  To celebrate Diana’s life, family and friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street.  Funeral services will be held immediately after visitation, at 11:00 a.m., on Monday at the funeral home, with Deacon David Roth officiating.  Burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens.

Diana was born on June 21, 1950, in Kankakee County, Illinois, the daughter of Francis J. and Wilma L. (Conover) Caise.

Diana was always a hard worker.  She was employed with Xavier Hospital for 6 years, John Deere for 5 years and with Mercy Hospital for 22 years.  She also helped her friend Bob with mobile home salvage and demolition for several years.  When Diana found some free time in her days she enjoyed being in the great outdoors.  She liked working in her flower gardens and heading out to her favorite fishing hole.  She especially enjoyed trips to the cabin on the Turkey River.  Diana and Bob also loved going out dancing.  Diana had a kind, gentle and caring heart.  She will be greatly missed.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Lola Caise; her step-father, “Pete” Darche; and a brother, Francis J. “Jimmy” Caise.

Diana’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice of Dubuque for the outstanding care they provided for Diana and her family.
