Dr. Jeffrey A. Mazzanti, age 73, of  Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on July 12, 2024, at MercyOne in Dubuque.  To honor Jeffrey’s life, a private family graveside service will be held at the Resurrection Church Cemetery in Asbury, IA.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jeffrey’s family.

Jeff was born on February 24, 1951, in Maywood, IL, a son to Anthony and Amelia “Irene” (Nelli) Mazzanti.  He honorably spent his life in faithful devotion to his family, as well as his community around him.  Jeff was united in marriage to the love of his life, Marilynn Cromas, and the couple began their life together and were blessed with one son, Jason.  They eventually made their way to Dubuque to be close to family and Jeff invested his time and talents as a Podiatrist building up his own practice and then joining the Medical Associates Clinic where he made countless friends throughout his successful career.  In his free-time, you could easily find him fishing in the Mississippi River as well as making regular fishing trips to Canada with family and friends.  Jeff was a die hard Chicago sports fan and he was glad to witness all his teams win championships within his lifetime.  He was very excited and happy to see the Chicago Whitesox and Chicago Cubs win championships after waiting for so many years.  As well as seeing the Chicago Blackhawks win multiple championships because he really loved the sport of hockey. We will miss Jeff very much and continue to embrace the life, love and legacy he leaves behind today for us to follow.  Thank you, Jeff, for being the best husband, father, and friend anyone could hope for and may peace be yours now as we await to see you again.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.
