ECIAR Announces 2025 Community Impact Initiative Grant Recipients

The East Central Iowa Association of REALTORS® (ECIAR) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Community Impact Initiative Grants.
Launched this year, the Community Impact Initiative Grant program supports local organizations making a lasting difference in the communities where our REALTOR® members live and work. Through this initiative, ECIAR proudly invests in projects that promote safe and affordable housing, combat food insecurity, and enhance quality of life—ensuring both large and small communities benefit from our support.
This year, ECIAR awarded a total of $12,000 in grants to five outstanding community projects:
  • Bernard Playground and Recreation Project – Phase 2 Park Improvements Project,  $3,000
  • Community Solutions of Eastern Iowa (CSEI) – Updated Street Outreach Program Video, $3,000
  • Dubuque Rescue Mission – New Kitchen Supplies, $1,000
  • Moms Connect Dubuque – Fill the Gap Fund, $2,000
  • Platteville Main Street – Senior Nutrition Program, $3,000
“The Community Impact Initiative Grant program reflects our members’ ongoing commitment to strengthening the communities where we live and work,” said (Tracy Demmer, ECIAR 2025 President). “Each of these projects demonstrates innovation, compassion, and a dedication to improving lives.”
The 2025 grant cycle accepted applications from June 1 through September 30, 2025. ECIAR encourages nonprofits and local organizations to apply for the next round of Community Impact Initiative Grants, which will open on June 1, 2026.
