Harold E. Daniels, 76, of Dubuque, died Sunday, February 25, 2024, at his home.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory.

Harold was born October 16, 1947, in Winona, MN, the son of Paul Samuel and Mary Louise Worrel Daniels. On November 17, 1973, he married Cherielynn Marie Janikowski in Winona, MN.
He graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1966.
Harold worked at Behrns Manufacturing until he moved to Dubuque in 1978. In November of 1978, he was hired at Klauer Manufacturing, where he worked until his retirement in October of 2009.
Harold dedicated his time to numerous roles within the First Presbyterian Church, where he served as both a deacon and elder and actively participated in various committees. He was a Cub Scout den leader for Pack 4 at Fulton Elementary School and served on the committee for Troop 94. Outside of his community involvement, Harold found joy in activities such as bowling, watching professional bowling and wrestling, playing cards and games with family and friends, taking scenic rides down to the river, exploring new destinations through travel, and cherishing moments spent with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Cherielynn; three children, Nicole (Ivy) Fountain of East Dubuque, Chris (Michelle Ragland) Daniels of Dubuque, and Joe (Holly Mills) Daniels of Savage, MN; nine grandchildren, Caitlin Daniels, Lyfe Fountain, Wisdom Fountain, Nik’kivy Fountain, Samuel Daniels, Mackenzie Daniels, Camilla Daniels, Louise Daniels, and Hamilton Daniels; and two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Cyrus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, Josie Daniels, five sisters, Evelyn Daniels, Carol (Earl) Hensel, Bev (Harold) Beeskow, and Norma (Merrit) Stark, and four brothers, Paulie Daniels, Earl (Dot) Daniels, Bobbie (Mitch) Daniels, and Dick (Deanna) Daniels.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Hospice of Dubuque.
