Helen was born on August 1, 1929, in Novinger, MO, the daughter of Orien and Vivian (Kelly) Truitt. She worked at Grace Printing which later became Gorsuch Grace printing and lastly worked for Metrics until retirement.

She is survived by her companion of over 22 years Merlin Kruser, of Dubuque; her three children: Mark Woller, of Phillips, WI, Carla Kelly, of Willow, AK, and Kelly (Michael) Noble, of Wapello, IA.

She is also survived by her twin brothers, John (Edith) Truitt, of Sun City, AZ and Charles Truitt, of Potosi, WI, and her sister-in-law, Lynn Waller, of Arnold, MO.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; a son Thomas Woller; three sisters, Sherry (Bill) Kuhlman, Patricia Truitt, & Phyllis Truitt in infancy.

Helen is Gramma to 8 (Mark, Sarah, Jennifer & Sean; Carrie & Scott; Alyssa & Blair) Great-Gramma to 15 (Hannah, Ava & Danica; Zach, Maya, Aria & Siena; Amelia, William, Winston, Wells & Warren; Anja; Hana & Haile) and Great-Great-Gramma to baby Lucas that she loved getting to meet!

As the family matriarch, she valued time with her loved ones most. Merle, her kids, her grandkids…she would drop everything to listen, share a meal or have a chat. She was a conduit, connecting the generations through stories from childhood or loved ones passed. Now we must become the conduit, keeping the memories alive, maintaining our connections. Helen Elizabeth Woller departed this world gracefully on her own terms on her 95th birthday, surrounded by loved ones. We all honor her legacy of family, education and connection: “Bye-Bye for now.”
