Jane Ann Ruden, 70, Of Dubuque passed away on Monday June 5, 2023, at Ennoble Manor following a short illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Church of the Nativity with Msgr. James Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road where a parish wake service will be held at 3:45 p.m. Burial will follow the mass at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Jane was born on July 10, 1952, in Dubuque the daughter of Eldon J. and Dorothy A. (Fischer) Ruden. She graduated from Western Dubuque High School in 1970. She worked at Georgia Pacific in Dubuque for 34 years and later at Theisen’s in Dubuque for the last 12 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nativity Parish.

Jane Loved children, she doted on her nieces and nephews, her great nieces and nephews and her great great niece. She loved celebrating their life events with homemade and beautifully decorated cakes.

Jane is survived by her mother Dorothy; her siblings Dave (Rita) Ruden, Joyce Giannakouros and Dennis Ruden along with her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her farther Eldon her brother Jeffrey “Jeeps”, a brother-in-law George Giannakouros, and her grandparents Nicholas and Mary Ruden and Anthony and Mary Fischer.
