Joyce Eileen Coleman, 81, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, January 15, at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 John F. Kennedy Rd., Dubuque. Private family burial will be at a later date in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Joyce was born on October 3, 1942, daughter of Harold and Rosemary (Vogel) Berkley. She married Edward A. Coleman on October 3, 1964 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. They were married 53 years before Ed preceded her in death on December 20, 2017. She worked for Borley Advertising for many years before retirement. She was a member of Lacoma Golf Club. She enjoyed golf, travel, reading, and time with her family.

Surviving are her two sons, Michael E. (Amy Wernimont) Coleman, and Patrick J. (Rhonda) Coleman; grandchildren, Alexia (Ryan) Sindt, Samantha (Shawn) Thomas, Colin Coleman, and Aspen Coleman; three great-grandchildren, Kelsie, Brody, and Brynnlee; and one sister, Mary Manderscheid of Sun City West, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, William; a sister, Barbara; and her parents-in-law, Art and Lou Coleman.
