Kristofer Schmidt-Faber, 25, of Dubuque, passed away April 25, 2024.

Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 JFK Road, Dubuque. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 3:00p.m., with Rev. Dianne Grace officiating.

Kristofer was born on May 7, 1998 to Shane Faber and Misty Lampers. He graduated from Dubuque Senior High School where he excelled in Track and Field. Kristofer loved to tinker, and fix anything that was broken.

He enjoyed playing video games, playing guitar, longboarding, and fishing. He particularly loved spending time outdoors hiking and exploring wildlife.

Kristofer also cherished his role as a father to Alice. Family and friends meant everything to him. He was always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by his parents, Misty (Mark) Lampers, and Shane (Terri) Faber; siblings, Austin, Devin, Blake, Dalton, Colton, Brittany, Cole, Hunter, and Mark Jr.; fiancée, Stacey Thill; daughter, Alice. He is also survived by his grandparents and several aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

Kristofer’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to the East Dubuque Police Department and the emergency room staff at Mercy One Dubuque. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.

A Kristofer Schmidt-Faber Memorial Fund has been established.
