Mark A. Waechter, age 60, of Dubuque, passed away at 9:16 a.m., on Monday, June 17, 2024, at his home.  To honor Mark’s life private family services were held.  Behr Funeral Home 1491 Main Street is assisting Mark’s family.

Mark was born on August 30, 1963, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Daniel and Norma Lee (Oneyear) Waechter.

Mark attended Dubuque Senior High School and after graduation worked as a window cleaner with Key City Window Cleaning.  He married Misty Schultz in 1995, but they would decide to go their separate ways in 2003.  In his free time Mark enjoyed listening to music and watching football and wrestling.  He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye, Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Vikings fan.  He enjoyed relaxing in general and watching his favorite TV shows.  Mark walked everywhere and was well known around the downtown area.  He will be missed.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; a niece, Amanda Birch; and a nephew, Andy Birch.
