Michael J. Talbert, age 75, of Peosta, Iowa, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, at home with his loving wife by his side.  In keeping with Michael’s wishes there will not be a public service held at this time.  Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street is assisting Michael’s family.

Michael was born on October 18, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois.

Michael married Nancy Pfab on June 10, 1994, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He worked as a mechanic at Captive Plastics in Peosta and was lastly employed at Kohl’s.  In his free time, Michael enjoyed watching TV, especially science fiction shows.  Michael was a man who enjoyed his quiet time and loved spending time at home with Nancy.  He also had an adventurous side, and was thrilled when he was able to fulfill his dream of going sky diving.  Michael will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

Those left to cherish Michael’s memory include

several grandchildren;

and his siblings.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
