Rick A. Mills, 70, of Dubuque, passed away on March 9, 2026, at UW Hospitals in Madison, WI., surrounded by family.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon David Roth officiating at Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque.

Rickey was born on September 24, 1955, the son of Elmer and Nancy (Sarazin) Mills in Dubuque. He married Vickie M. (Becker) Mills on October 26, 1974, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Rickey worked for R&R Trucking and later at Sitco.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie; son, Nathan; grandchildren, Blake, Connor, and Kamryn; siblings, Judy (Larry) Wilsbach, Ron (Karen) Mills, Kenny Mills, Lisa (Gary) Hinderman, Kevin (Sue) Mills; in-laws, Dan (Sue) Becker, Wade Becker, Glenn (Laurie) Becker, Doug (Kristi) Becker, Larry Becker, Rory (Jenny) Becker, Brenda Mills, Lisa (Tom) Droullard, Angi (Darren) McCarthy.

Rickey was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Nancy; his brother, Randy; mother and father-in-law Roger and Darlene Becker.

In lieu of flowers a Rick A. Mills memorial fund has been established.
