Telling interesting and historic back stories of one of Rock and Rolls iconic vocal legends. From his early days in Wink, Texas to his rockabilly days at Sun Records, his mega char buster hits like Only the Lonely, Crying and Pretty Woman recorded at Monument Records to his Triumphant comeback in the late 80s with The Traveling Willburys and his last award-winning Solo album with hits like You Got it. Lindy sings the songs using his 4-octave vocal range backed by some of the nations best musicians. Rick Lindy’s black and white night will delight audiences of all ages and get you dancing in your seats.

Rick Lindy and The Wild Ones Band was formed in 1999 by lead vocalist and guitarist Rick Lindy. The band began as a 4-piece unit performing mostly original rockabilly and retro rock songs written by Rick Lindy. Two original albums were released on a Norwegian record label and the band toured all over Europe for two years, eventually adding main stream fifties and sixties songs and touring all over USA. The band is band in Chicago area and perform hundreds of shows every year. The Jukebox legends show was developed in 2018 and also Rick Lindy’s Salute to Roy Orbison show around the same time. Both shows highlight the hits of the legendary performers and interesting historical facts and backgrounds information is told along with performing songs of the most beloved performers of fifties and sixties music.
Rick Lindy is the bands founder and lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and leader of the band. Rick is also an artist painter and sculptor and has been featured in a number of magazines and newspapers for his art and music. He is also an actor and has been in many plays and musicals. In 1990 after graduating from the American Academy of art in Chicago he auditioned for The Serendipty Singers and was granted the job. With the serendipty singers Rick traveled and performed all over USA, Canada and Mexico. After he resigned he formed many bands over the last 40 years… he has performed all over Europe for 8 years and nationally in USA including recent tours to Texas, South Carolina and many other states.
