Robert J. “Bob” Reisen, 81, of East Dubuque, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Stonehill Care Center in Dubuque, IA.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 15, 2024, at the Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday with Deacon Michael Timmerman officiating.  Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery.

Bob was a graduate of East Dubuque High School, class of 1960. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Upholsterer’s Union Local and was formerly employed at Flexsteel Industries until his retirement.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, softball, working in his yard and his house. Bob loved football and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Surviving are four sons, Rob (Debra) Reisen, Jr, Dubuque, IA, Rich (Jenette) Reisen of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Keith (Susan) Reisen of East Dubuque and Chad (Marissa) Reisen of Washington, IA; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; his siblings, Josephine “Jo” Powers and Paul Reisen both of East Dubuque; many nieces and nephews, and his former wife, Sandy (Hantelmann) Macey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pauline, two daughters-in-law, Cindy Reisen and Shelly Reisen, and siblings, Ralph “Tojo” Reisen, Bill Reisen and Betty Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, a Bob Reisen memorial fund has been established.
