Robert “Bob” N. Fondell, 40, of Bellevue, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Visitation will be 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Hachmann-Mier Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue.  Private Family Graveside Services will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Bellevue.

Bob was born December 29, 1984, the son of Nick and Jane (Roling) Fondell.  He graduated from Andrew High School in 2003.  Bob married Holly Baumann on May 16, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bellevue.  He worked for Rentech Nitrogen Plan in East Dubuque and was a member of UAW Local # 1391.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing.  He also enjoyed coaching soccer for his daughter’s teams over the years.  He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Holly; children, Lily, Ella, and Lila Fondell; parents, Jane (Emil) Kucirek, and Nick (Sally) Fondell; father and mother in-law, Bill and Nancy Baumann; a sister, Stacey (Matt) Agena; sisters in-law, Stacy (Jordan) Morales, and Audrey Roling; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

A memorial fund has been established for his daughter’s future education in Bob’s memory.
