Shirley M. Kringle, 79, of Cascade, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Accura Health Care in Cascade, Iowa.

Friends and relatives of Shirley may call from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, Iowa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 31, 2023 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Cascade, Iowa, with Rev. Mark Osterhaus presiding.  Burial will be held in the Calvary Cemetery in Cascade, Iowa.

Shirley was born March 21, 1944 in  Cascade, Iowa, daughter of Victor and Anna C. (Duschner) Beringer.  She received her education in the Cascade area schools. On September 6, 1970 she was united in marriage to William Kringle in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He preceded her in death on August 26, 2017.

She is survived by one sister, Marlene Heiderscheit; nieces and nephews, Vickie Knowles, Debbie (Kevin) Brubaker, Jackie (John) Gonner, Jeff (Annie) Heiderscheit,  Brenda (Tim)  Doud, John and Jeanne Kringle, Betty Sullivan, and Nancy Kringle of Dubuque

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ralph C. Beringer on January 24, 2010 and two  brothers-in-law, George Heiderscheit and John G. (Elsie) Kringle and a nephew, Phil Sullivan
