Sr. Beverly (Owen) Eichler, OSF, 90, died at 7:25 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Clare House, Mount St. Francis. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Clare House Chapel, Mount St. Francis Center at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2023. Masks are optional. Sr. Beverly was born on July 7, 1932 in Pocahontas, IA, the daughter of Emmett and Mary (Bollard) Eichler.  She entered the Sisters of St. Francis August 25, 1951 and made final profession of vows August 10, 1957. Sister received her Masters Degree from Clarke College, Dubuque, IA. She ministered as a teacher in Iowa at Alton, St. Mary and St. Edward, Waterloo, and Oyens. Other missions included St. Mary of the Woods, Chicago, IL; Eugene, OR; and St. Patrick and St. Gabriel in Charlotte, NC. Sister Bev also ministered at Mount St. Francis Center in Dubuque as a sacristan before retiring in 2007.

Sister is survived by her nephews and her Franciscan sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Lucy Lunsford.
