Steve Talbert Luster, 64, of Peosta, died Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Harmony Dubuque.

There will be no services. Military honors will be held at a later date.

Steve was born March 1, 1960, in Norfolk, VA, the son of James Gaddis and Lorene Morgan Davenport Luster.

He was a graduate of Luverne High School in Luverne, AL.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving as an airplane mechanic during his time in the military. After his discharge, Steve worked as a semi-truck driver. When we was not working he loved to hunt, and fish.

Survivors include one daughter, Kelly (Jason Kringle) Luster of Peosta, IA and two grandsons, Aidan Thompson of Peosta, and Brandon Kringle of Dubuque.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Craig.
