Steven M. Diskin, 62 of Galena, IL passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at Allure of Stockton, Stockton, IL. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, July 17, 2023, at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Galena. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family.

He was born September 15, 1960, in Urbana, IL, the son of William A. and Beverly A. (Kenney) Diskin. Steve was a long-time employee of Galena Wire Co and the owner of Diskin Lawn Ornaments. He loved his kitty, socializing and a good arm wrestle. Steve was a caring son, brother, and friend.  He will be missed by his family and friends.

Steve is survived by his three brothers, William (Lana), Ron (Sandy), and Dale (BeAnn), as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
