Terance M. Chapman, 55, of Dubuque, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Heritage Manor-Hawkeye Care Center.

Friends may greet the family from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3860 Asbury Road, where there will be a prayer service at 4:30 p.m.

Terance was born March 6, 1963 in Dubuque, the son of Kenneth and Sharon (Voelz) Chapman. He graduated from Wahlert High School, and went on to graduate from Wisconsin School of Technology.

He was a member of the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps for 5 years.

Terance served his country with the U.S. Army.

Terance is survived by his children, Allison, Christopher, and Marc Chapman; his parents, Kenneth and Sharon Chapman; his brothers, Daniel (Lynn) of Dubuque, Joseph (Patty) of Troy, IL, Thomas of Dubuque, Douglas of Dubuque, and Michael (friend Linn Phan) Chapman of Jeffersonville, IN; his sister, Elizabeth Schleicher of Lancaster, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and his sister, Kathleen “Callie” Bishay.

The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Manor-Hawkeye Care Center for caring for Terance for over 11 years, as well as Dr. Allen Meurer.
