Teri Lynn Nemmers, 66, from LaMotte IA, passed away Wednesday morning October 18, 2023, at Luther Manor in Dubuque after a short battle with cancer.

The burial will be on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Parish Cemetery in LaMotte IA. Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.

Teri enjoyed sappy tv shows, The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie were among her favorites. She also loved auto racing, and Boo-Boo her fur baby of 9 years. Teri loved life, although it was cruel at times, she found the good in those that weren’t.

She is survived by her husband, Brian; son Chuck of Kansas; seven grandchildren; her father Elton (Linda) Ward; brother Reggie all from Florida.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Dubuque for assisting Teri in her final journey.
