Terri L. Krier

Terri L. Krier, age 68, of Dubuque, passed away surrounded by her family at 5:10 p.m., on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Stonehill Health Center.  To honor Terri’s life private family services were held.  Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.  Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street is assisting the family.

Terri was born on July 1, 1955, in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of Richard and Elnora “Nora” (Hines) Carner.

Terri was united in marriage to Donald Krier on May 16, 1970, in Asbury, Iowa, and they have been blessed with 52 years together.  Terri was a devoted wife and mom who generously volunteered her time and talents to her community.  She was one of the founders of Open Closet at St. John’s Church, helped with the Toys for Tots collection every year and helped at the Sweet Deals candy store.  Terri loved a good deal and was always on the look out for her next purchase.  The family teased her that she was “an organized hoarder”, whose favorite pieces to collect were historic pieces from different places around Dubuque.  Terri will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
