Thomas G. “Tom” Peacock, 76, of East Dubuque, Illinois, passed away at 2:25 a.m. Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Manor Care in Dubuque, IA.

Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque, with Rev. Dianne Grace officiating. Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Tom was born in Dubuque, Iowa, on July 21, 1942, the son of Clarence and Bertha (VanSchaik) Peacock. He was united in marriage to Linda Huber on December 27, 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death on December 15, 2011.

Tom was a veteran of the U. S. Marines serving in Cambodia. He was formerly employed at Dubuque Screw Company, and loved carving and crafts.

Surviving are his children, Tony (Connie) Peacock of East Dubuque, Tami (Carl) Seastrand of San Diego, CA, Tom Peacock of East Dubuque, Dawn (Scott) McLemore of Portland, Oregon and Dave (Cheryl) Peacock of Dubuque; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; his siblings, John “Jack” Peacock of East Dubuque and Judy Peacock of Illinois; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Bertha, and two brothers, Clarence and Jim Peacock.

In lieu of flowers, a Thomas E. Peacock memorial fund has been established.
