Timothy J. Kehde, age 44, of Dubuque passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at UnityPoint Health- Finley Hospital.  To celebrate Tim’s life, family and friends may visit from 3:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street, Dubuque, IA 52001.  Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Behr’s.

Tim was born on September 12, 1982, in Dubuque, the son of Patrica Kehde.

He attended school in East Dubuque and graduated from East Dubuque High School Class of 2001.

Tim married Heather Tillman in August 2011 at St. Patrick’s Church in Dubuque. They later went their separate ways, and they share a daughter, Skylar Tillman.

Tim had an easy-going, laid-back nature and always had a positive attitude, which made other people feel at ease around him.  He made many friends throughout his life and he will be greatly missed.  Tim spent several years working for Focus in Dubuque until they closed.  He worked for a time for Cottingham and Butler and began to drive a cab for Green Cab in Dubuque.  Tim then went to work for A1 Cab and found he truly enjoyed all of the people he would meet on a daily basis.  He loved music and going to concerts any chance that he could.  Tim loved watching wrestling, football and was a life-long hockey fan.  With all of his hobbies and activities, the most important thing to him was spending time with his daughter Skylar and his family and friends.

Those left to cherish Tim’s memory include

his mother, Patty Kehde, Dubuque, IA;
his former wife, Heather (Jesse) Rogers, Dubuque, IA;

his 2 aunts, Lorraine Cassidy, Dyersville, IA and Laurie (Jeff) Bausch of Florida;

and his cousins.

He was preceded in death by an uncle, Gary Kehde and a great-niece, Chloe Campbell.

Tim’s family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at UnityPoint Health- Finley Hospital ICU, especially his nurse Paige, who took such good care of him.
