Tom Ashenbrenner (aka Tom Brenner), passed away on October 11 at the age of 69 years old. He was born in Milwaukee, WI.

Tom was a Dubuque radio personality from 1988 through 2017, using the on-air name Tom Brenner and known for his show Good Morning Rodeo. He had a love of both radio and music. Tom started both his radio career and playing music at the age of 15. Tom had a magnetic personality and made friends easily. He had a strong interest in local history and loved sharing his home with a variety of dogs, all Humane Society rescues.

Tom is survived by his wife Susan Anderson and sister Sharon Ashenbrenner Charles (Gary). He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Tom is further survived by his brothers-in-law Peter Anderson (Sara Minkoff) and Gary Charles, along with three nieces and a nephew and great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to say a special thanks to the nurses and doctors in the ICU at Finley Hospital in Dubuque.
