Will J. Burds, age 74 of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away on October 25, 2023.

He was born November 12, 1948 in Cascade, Iowa.  A son to the late John and Mary (Carroll) Burds. In addition to his parents, Will is preceded in passing by his brothers Jerry (Pat) Burds and Jack Burds.

Will obtained his bachelor’s degree in business from Loras College, Dubuque Iowa and retired after 30 years with Progressive Insurance.

Will enjoyed his family and friends and is survived by his loving wife Kathy of 51 years, his son Chad (Emily), his grandchildren Carter and Payton and sisters Joan Weber (Phil) and Colleen Bertinetti.

We will then take Will home for his funeral mass burial with Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home in Dubuque, Iowa. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:15a.m., Thursday, November 2, 2023 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Dubuque. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10:30a.m.
