As our nation continues to celebrate its 250th anniversary, we may take advantage of the opportunity to reflect upon the state of our country. While there is always a mix of strengths and weaknesses within our governing structures, one collective challenge we face in modern times is robust citizen participation for the common good. Some can be deterred from civic actions, believing that all politics are broken or ineffective. For people of faith, there may be the belief that faith and politics should never mix. 
Join us for this prayer service to explore the meaning of “politics,” and, from a variety of faith perspectives, the vital and necessary connection between faith and our actions in the world; how faith calls us to be a voice for the common good.
